I discovered a hidden treasure trove of clutter this week. All ready to go out to the Salvation Army store too! But look at it.. It never made it out of my house.
~ Sigh~
I'm good though. I haven't gone through the bags and I'm not going to. I'm just going to focus on getting rid of them and not repatriating the clutter.
My goal this week is to get it into the car and to the Sally Ann.. Even if it's packed and ready to go it's still clutter if its taking up room in my house.
You're right, it's still clutter if it is taking up space in your house. Get rid of it! *smile*
ReplyDeleteOoer, i think my pc just had a senior moment. Not sure if my last comment got posted or not. Still, my warning is worth repeating, don't give tour goods to a charity shop you use or you may accidentally buy back what you gave!
ReplyDeleteGood advice. I definitely don't want to chance reintroducing it into my home.
DeleteThe church that houses the Drop In also has a little shop that sells off stuff others don't want. I think I'll start putting stuff in bags to take there. I go there every week. I'll be helping them by helping myself declutter. Thanks for the idea Yvonne.
ReplyDeleteYou are very welcome. I love giving to charity shops and decluttering at the same time - a true win:win.
